Buttermilk Crumbed Quail
- Buttermilk Quial Breast Kit
- 3 Eggs, Cup of plain flour, Dash of milk
- Oil for Frying
- Your Favorite Dressing - Ranch, Thousand Island, Aioli
- Fresh Lemon Wedges (optional)
Place Crumbs into a large bowl.
In another small bowl whisk eggs and milk together.
Remove large quail peices from bag and drain over a colander. Once drained add
flour and toss in a bag or bowl.
Then to crumb, dip the floured quail into the egg mix, then transfer to
the crumbs, pat the crumbs on and place on a tray. Continue until all
of the quail are crumbed.
To cook, shallow or deep fry at approx. 170 degrees for approx. 4-5
minutes or until golden.
To serve, place on a bed of shredded crisp lettuce and accompany
with a lemon wedge and chosen dressing.
