Intercostal Beef and Pasta Sauce

Chef Jason Peppler has already prepared the delicious and very popular beef intercostal pasta sauce ready to mix with your favourite pasta. The intercostal cut is a flavoursome finger of meat located between the rib. Jason has slow-cooked the rib finger and mixes with his own secret ingredients to create an authentic Italian sauce.

  • 1 x Brisbane Valley Farm Direct beef intercostal sauce
  • 500g pasta of your choice
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lg tomato diced
  • 1 handful spinach
  • Chopped parsley (optional)
  • Serve with chilli flakes to add spice


Step 1

Boil pasta on stove in a large pot, then drain.

Step 2

Return cooked pasta to pot and add the Brisbane Valley Farm Direct beef intercostal sauce.

Step 3

Add the diced tomato and spinach leaves.

Step 4

Serve with parmesan and pepper/chilli flakes.

Add chopped parsley (optional).
